Cooperation with the Federation of Cyberfootball of Ukraine ESFU
March 18, 2017 | FIFA
Today, an agreement was signed on cooperation between the Ukrainian Federation of Computer Technologies and Sport and the Federation of Cyberfootball of Ukraine for the joint development and promotion of e-sports on the territory of Ukraine. By combining our efforts, we will be able to bring both popular and evolving e-sports disciplines to a new level, which will attract the international community, as well as new players and sponsors in this field.
“To date, the game FIFA or cyberfootball is one of the promising disciplines in e-sports, since this discipline is the most understandable and does not differ from modern football rules. Every year the number of people playing in FIFA is increasing and we hope that this dynamics will continue.“
– President of ESFU – Arseniy Salay
Recall that a major US media holding ESPN acquired from Electronic Arts unique rights to broadcast tournament matches for FIFA 17. This gave a new twist in the development of this discipline.
