Apple has two patents: a curved display and an integrated Touch ID

If for a while the rumors around the iPhone 8 have calmed down, you can be sure that it will not be long. Patently Apple exchanges information about the two new patents that the company registered – a curved display and a built-in fingerprint scanner.
The first patent is explained as follows: the display can be made of a flexible material, it can be bent on both sides in such a way as to reduce the width of the phone without the need to reduce the active part of the display.
The second patent, in turn, shows a more complex way: the Touch ID technology can be integrated into the display, it will be much more convenient to use.
Of course, all this does not mean that these technologies will see the light. Many of the patents for inventions that have been submitted by various technology companies have never been developed. But since in this case it is said about the iPhone 8 without the Home button and the curved OLED-display, it can be assumed that Apple, at least, are trying to develop this idea.
